Amukkara Choornam is Siddha Medicine used for the treatment of insomnia, splenomegaly (spleen enlargement), anemia, pruritus, pneumonitis, wheezing, and spasm. It is also beneficial in arthritic disorders including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and backache. It can help to treat leucorrhoea, debility, hiccup, and cough occurring due to the weakness of the lungs.

  1. A Siddha doctor suggest me to take Amukara churna for improving the growth of baby. Can a pregnant women take Amukara Churanam?

  2. our doctor suggest to amukara chroonam fot hand shaking. how much quantity will take & can use hot water for the medicine (Adjuvant).

    1. 1. The adult dosage of Amukara churna is about 1/3 teaspoon (2 gram). It should be taken twice or thrice daily.

      2. The best adjuvant for Amukara churna is Ghee or Milk for this purpose.
