At the end of 28 days, the levels of testosterone, catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA), and glutathione peroxidase (GPX) were measured.

The results showed an improvement in the sperm quality parameters and a rise in the total serum testosterone levels in the test group. An increase in the levels of CAT, SOD, and GPX was also observed in this group.

The rats in the test group also showed a significant decline in the level of plasma MDA in comparison to the control group.
