If your cholera is in the first stage, you should take about two tablespoons of juice of bitter gourd leaves; you should mix it with 2 tablespoon of white onion juice and 1 tea spoon of lime juice. - There is no specific range of doses with respect to bitter melon. It is a silent objector if you are planning for the pregnancy. However, ayurvedic science recommends using 1 to 3 grams of bitter melon powder twice a day.
- Bitter melon seeds are not quite easy to digest. Therefore, bitter melon with seeds should not be used in children with low digestive capacity.
- Interaction with anti-diabetic drugs is not yet fully known. There are some recent studies, which have revealed that adorable vegetable has some negative impact on your health if used along with modern anti-diabetic drugs. It may cause sudden hypoglycemia. But this applies to the bitter melon extract, not to the raw vegetable or its juice or crude powder.
