  1. I am taking BRAHMI GHRITHA for mental stability and Ashwagandharishta for physical wellness. Can I go with this combination? I am a lactating mother of my four month old.

    1. This combination is considerably safe for lactating mothers, so lactating mothers can take it. There are likely no side effects on mothers as well as on breastfed babies.

  2. Sir, My 4 1/2 month old infant is passing light green stool 3 to 4 times a day. Can this be due to my consuming Brahmi Ghritam? I am taking 1/2 a teaspoon of the ghee in empty stomach in the morning with hot water. Please reply.

    1. Infant’s digestive system may not digest this amount of Ghee. If Brahmi Ghritam is not suggested by physician or indicated for treatment of specific disease, then you should not give this up to 6 months of age.

    1. Brahmi Ghrita contains Vacha, Kushta and Brahmi. All these ingredients are very helpful for reducing stammering. If it is used along with Kalyana Churna and Saraswatarishta, then results are awesome. One can get positive results within 3 to 6 months of regular use of this combination.

    1. Yes, hypertensive patient can also take Brahmi Ghee, but the daily maximum intake of Brahmi ghee should not exceed from 10 ml i.e. 2 level teaspoons of melted ghee.

This amount of ghee including medicated ghee including Brahmi ghee does not likely affect cardiovascular health or blood pressure. Saturated fats are also essential for several important functions in the body. It also provides strengthening benefits.

If the underlying cause of high blood pressure is any stress disorder, then Brahmi Ghee also helps to calm the mind and reduces the stress, anxiety, depression and irritation, which ultimately also helps to normalize the blood pressure.

    1. The best recommendable time to take Brahmi Ghrita with Swarna Bhasma is the morning on empty stomach.
You need either to stop honey lemon drink in the morning with this or keep at least an hour gap between both remedies.
