Chintamani Ras (Hridaya) is a classical ayurvedic medicine used for heart and respiratory diseases. It helps in management of congestive heart failure (CHF), cardiac asthma due to CHF, cardiac dilation, cardiac myopathy, cardiac hypertrophy, heart valve regurgitation and heart fibrillation.

INGREDIENTS (COMPOSITION)

If Shuddha Parad present in Chintamani Ras (Hridaya) is not properly processed as per ancient principles, then Chintamani Ras (Hridaya) can lead to heavy metal toxicity.
The maximum safe period as mentioned is 4 to 12 weeks use and the minimum gap required for the next course is 2 weeks, but what is the maximum number of cycles we can use it because the diseases for which it is mentioned needs lifelong treatment. Also, what is the alternative for the duration of the precautionary gap mentioned?
Chintamani Ras Hridaya can be repeated for 6 cycles. It does not require after this period as a maximum of patients get significant improvement in diseases indicated in this article. However, patients can take Arjuna Siddha Ksheera for a whole life.
In precautionary gap period, Prabhakar Vati, Ashwagandha and Arjuna Ksheer Pak should be used.
