Dabur Lal Tail (or Dabur Lal Tel) is an ayurvedic proprietary product manufactured by Dabur India Limited. It is very famous ayurvedic massage oil used in India for boosting the overall physical growth of infants. It increases the strength of bone, joint and muscle and improves height and weight of babies. In classical ayurvedic medicine, Chandanbala Laxadi Oil and Bala Ashwagandha Oil are used for getting similar benefits.

Pharmacological Actions

Shankhpushpi and Masha in Dabur Lal Tail improve strength. Shankhpushpi and Ratanjot improve complexion and quality of the skin. Cinnamomum Camphora and Ratanjot prevent skin diseases. Sarala Taila and Tila Tail (sesame oil) increase circulation and strengthens muscles and bones.

    1. Changes in baby’s skin color is a normal response to a health condition, age or environmental factors, sometimes due to immature blood circulation. Lal tail might not be the cause for the change in skin color.

      In my opinion, coconut oil is the best oil for baby massage, especially during summers. In winters, Lal Tail should be well suitable.
