Dasamulakatutrayadi Kashayam is an ayurvedic classical medicine mainly used mainly for reducing cough and dyspnea occurring due to lung’s diseases or respiratory disorders. It is likely to have a hot potency and reduces mucus production (pacifies Kapha Dosha). Therefore, it is best for patients suffering from excess production of mucus. It occurs in diseases like catarrh and bronchitis. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and acts bronchodilator. Pharmacological Actions

Dasamulakatutrayadi Kashayam acts as mucolytic, antitussive, appetizer, analgesic and anti-inflammatory. It reduces mucus production in the lungs and mitigates inflammation in the airways and lungs. It is best when a patient coughing up excess phlegm and wants to get rid of excessive phlegm. In most cases, it occurs in the morning (during Kapha time) and reduces during noon (Pitta time). If such conditions are seen, then Dasamulakatutrayadi Kashaya can be used.

Dasamulakatutrayadi may not be suitable for patients with PITTA manifestations.

If you are using Dasamulakatutrayadi Kashayam Churna, then take 60 grams churna in 960 ml water. Boil to reduce it 120 ml Dasamulakatutrayadi liquid. The dosage is 30 to 60 ml.
