Benefits & Medicinal Uses
Divya Madhunashini Vati is used in the treatment of diabetes. It contains herbs that protect the organs related to the metabolism of carbohydrates such as the pancreas and control the blood sugar levels in the patients with diabetes. This herbal medicine activates the pancreas and stimulates the secretion of a balanced amount of Insulin. This action helps the extra glucose circulating in the blood to get converted into glycogen. This helps to prevent spikes in the blood sugar level.
Divya Madhunashini Vati helps patients to have a control over their craving for sweets by producing an appetite suppressant action. It also helps to reduce weight by repelling sweets thus taking care of obesity, which is a common factor known to worsen and cause diabetes. This medicine acts as an antioxidant and helps the body to fight the free radicals thus minimizing the damage to the pancreas due to them.
Divya Madhunashini Vati helps improve the peripheral intake of sugar by the body thus reducing the level of circulating glucose. It stabilizes the endocrine system and helps in regulating the metabolic processes in the body.
Divya Madhunashini Vati helps in controlling the symptoms of diabetes such as dryness of the mouth and throat, an increased frequency of urination, especially at night, and burning and tingling sensation in the hands and feet. It also prevents unusual weight loss or weight gains that are the common symptoms in the patients suffering from this disease. It removes the weakness and irritation occurring due to diabetes and increases the capacity of the brain by enhancing its strength.
When used on a regular basis, Divya Madhunashini Vati can help to prevent the complications of diabetes. It contains a combination of herbs each producing a protective action on different organs of the body that may get affected due to this disease such as the kidneys, brain, eyes, nerves, heart and the blood vessels. It prevents the complications of this disease such as diabetic naturopathy and diabetic neuropathy.
It is useful in preventing neuralgia caused due to the affection of the nerves. It protects the eyes and reduces the risk of diabetes-linked cataract. It also preserves the vision. It reduces the risk of recurrent infections. This Ayurvedic tonic also strengthens the immune system and regulates its response, which is often hampered in the patients with diabetes.
It makes the nervous system stronger and maintains its functions. It also provides relief from the systemic and psychological complications of diabetes such as general exhaustion and stress. The stress may be the result of an uncontrollable blood sugar level or the cause of the same. This means the patients may suffer from severe mental stress and depression due to diabetes. On the other hand, an excessive mental stress due to the factors related to the lifestyle can also contribute to the development of diabetes. Stress can also worsen existing diabetes by enhancing the production of hormones, which, in turn, cause an increase in the blood sugar level. Divya Madhunashini Vati can help in preventing the development of diabetes, control existing diabetes and also, prevent the psychological complications like depression by producing a relaxing effect on the brain. It reduces stress and anxiety by producing an adaptogenic action and enables a person to deal with the stressors in life with an improved ability. This medicine balances the mood swings and insomnia occurring due to diabetes.
Dosage & Administration
Patients suffering from diabetes can take this medicine in a dose of one or two tablets twice a day. The doses can me modified based on the blood sugar levels. The medicine should be taken an hour before the breakfast and dinner. Patients can take the medicine with a glass of lukewarm water or milk.
If patients are taking any anti-diabetic drugs like insulin, they should check their blood sugar level two weeks after they start using Divya Madhunashini Vati. It is important to check the blood sugar levels at regular intervals and adjust the dose of Divya Madhunashini Vati accordingly to ensure proper control over diabetes and prevent the complications caused by too high or too low levels of blood sugar.
They can stop using the allopathic medicine by slowly tapering the dose over several weeks once they have started obtaining the desired results with Divya Madhunashini Vati.
I have been taking the Divya Madhu nashini tablets after consulting the Vaidya at Patanjali megastore in Delhi. Even after taking it for about 4 months on a regular basis my sugar levels are more than 300. I am not overweight. I take normal food; eat nuts, jamun, curd etc. I want proper treatment to control my sugar.
Please consult a local physician.
Is it safe for pregnant lady taking insulin?
Madhunashini Vati contains Strychnos Nux-Vomica, which is not safe for pregnant women. Therefore, Madhunashini Vati should not be taken during pregnancy.
Please advise me the correct dosage of Divya MADHUNASHINI VATI EXTRA POWER and how can I reduce allopathic medicine dosage and what is the time taken in due course.
If Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) less than 140 mg/dL, then 1 Tablet of Divya Madhunashini Vati Extra Power twice daily 30 minutes before breakfast and dinner should be sufficient. If Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) more than 140 mg/dL, then 2 tablets twice daily should be taken.
Check your blood sugar level regularly. When your blood glucose level and HbA1C decline and show good control, you can reduce the dosage of allopathic medicines accordingly under the supervision of a physician.

Yes, you can take allopathic medicines along with madhunashini Vati. However, you should keep 3 hours gap between ayurvedic and allopathic medicines for precautionary measure.
