  1. Dr. Jagdev,

As always, thanks so much for the good information you provide.

I read recently on a vendor’s page that Gokshuradi Guggulu would increase sexual desire. Is this true, or are they just trying to sell more product? As I live at an ashram, I do not want this effect.

    1. Gokshuradi Guggulu contains Tribulus Terrestris, which has aphrodisiac and libido booster activities.

However, it also contains Guggulu and other ingredients, which balance the effects. The synergetic effects of all these ingredients are more likely to appear on kidneys, urinary system, uterus, joints, heart and blood vessels. Due to the synergetic effect, it may not increase sexual desire.

  6. What tablets should be taken for adult polycystic kidney disease. I am presently using chandraprabha vati and gokshuradi guggulu.
I’m also using cow urine table along with Sri Sri Vrikka Sanjivani Vati and Punarnava tablets.
I am taking these tablets on different days, like
    Monday – chandraprabha vati
    Tuesday -Goksharadi guggulu
    Wednesday – Cow urine
    Thursday– Vrikka Sanjivani Vati
    Friday – Punarnava
    Please suggest me.

    1. You should take chandraprabha vati and gokshuradi guggulu on daily basis in an appropriate dosage as recommended by your doctor. It may take 4 to 6 months to provide benefits in polycystic kidney disease. In our opinion, these are enough to treat the condition.
