Vati & Gutika

Kankayan Vati (Kankayan Gutika) for Piles (Arsha)

Kankayan Vati (also called Kankayan Gutika) is a best alternative medicine for non-bleeding piles. It reduces the size of the haemorrhoidal mass and relieves constipation. It improves appetite and digestion. It reduces Kapha Dosha, pacifies Vata Dosha, and increases Pitta Dosha. Therefore, it is the best medicine when you have itching, discomfort, constipation, white coating on tongue, loss of appetite, and poor digestive capacity. It also improves liver functions and increases the flow of bile, which helps to relieve constipation too. In addition, it is also beneficial for treating bloating, gas, intestinal worm, and feeling of abdominal lumps.

Kankayan Vati has very hot potency due to the presence of Shuddha Bhallataka (Semecarpus Anacardium), so it should not be used in case of bleeding piles. In bleeding piles, it increases bleeding and worsen the symptoms. Arshoghni Vati is a most suitable for people having bleeding piles.
