Lakshmi Vilas Ras (Rasendra Kasa)

Lakshmi Vilas Ras (Rasendra Kasa) is an ayurvedic medicine that is indicated upper respiratory tract infections, sinusitis, and skin diseases. However, its major actions are same as for Laxmi Vilas Ras Abhrak or Nardiya. Additionally, it provides more antibacterial properties due to Swarna Bhasma and Shuddha Hartal. It can be more helpful for treating sinusitis, chronic coryza, and asthma. It is beneficial for lungs, airways, stomach, heart, and liver.

Medicinal Properties

The medicinal uses of Lakshmi Vilas Ras (Rasendra Kasa) are attributed to the following medicinal properties:

  2. Cardiac Stimulant
  3. Anti-ischemic

  5. Antibacterial

Ayurvedic Property: It reduces mainly Kapha Dosha and pacifies Vata Dosha.

Side Effects & Safety

In a few cases, it is not suitable with milk. Therefore, milk products should not be taken till 1 hours after taking it.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnant women and lactating mothers should avoid Lakshmi Vilas Ras.
