Lehyam
Lehyam or lehya is an ayurvedic medicinal category for jam like preparations. These preparations are usually semi solid and sweet in taste. They are usually prepared using sugar or jaggery, herbs and ayurvedic herbo-mineral ingredients.
Avaleha, Lehya or lehyam are semi solid ayurvedic medicines prepared from sugar syrup, jaggery, herbal pulp, herbal powder, herbal decoctions and other ingredients.

Herbs, decoction of herbs, clarified butter, jaggery (or sugar, sugar candy) are common ingredients of lehyam.
