Lodhrasavam (Lodhrasava)
Lodhrasavam (Lodhrasava) is used for urinary disorders. It helps to treat chyluria, polyuria, alkanuria, indicanuria, biluria, urobilinuria, chronic nephritis, diabetes insipidus, phosphaturia, albuminuria, metrorrhagia, anemia, piles, malabsorption syndrome and skin diseases. It is also a hepatoprotective and improves the liver functions.
Nowadays, it is a famous ayurvedic medicine for abnormal uterine bleeding or metrorrhagia. In this case, it is generally given along with Ashokarishta or Ashoka Bark Churna or in combination with Ashokarishta and Ushirasava or Arvindasava and Saraswatarishta.

Shahad – Honey | 125 Parts |
- Take all herbs and water. Boil and simmer the mixture to reduce the liquid content to ¼ i.e. 256 Parts.
- Now allow to cool it.
- Then, add honey.
- Seal the Asava vessel with a clay smeared cloth.
- Now, leave it for 30 days in Asava place.
- After 30 days, filter the liquid (Lodhrasava) and preserve it in food-grade bottles.
