How to Take
As per dosage described above, M2 Tone should be taken with normal water twice daily an hour after meal for maximum benefits.
Recommended Treatment Duration
Generally, ayurvedic physicians recommend using it for 3 to 6 months. In some cases such as infertility and problems with egg production from the ovaries, you may have to take M2 Tone regularly for a longer period than usual, which may vary from 6 to 12 months.
M2 Tone Side Effects
The main ingredient in the M2 Tone is Asoka (Saraca indica). It may cause constipation in some people due to its astringent action, but this side effect is not reported with the use of M2 Tone because it also contains Haritaki (Terminalia chebula), which prevents constipation.
M2 Tone may be safe for long-term use. It can be taken safely during the menstrual periods as well. It may improve the outcome of pregnancy.

Yes, M2 tone can help in endometriosis. According to my opinion, you can also take Sootshekhar Ras (with Rajat Bhasma) and chandraprabha vati or shiva gutika for three months. If you do have other symptoms, then treatment should be accordingly.
I suffer from irregular menstruation cycle. Can m2 tone help alone in the treatment of irregular periods or do I also have to take other medicines along with m2 tone.
For some patients m2 tone can work alone, but most of cases, other medicines are also required.

You should not take m2 tone without consulting your attending doctor. Herbal preparation may have interaction with modern medicines, so I suggest you to stay at safer side and not to use during your treatment.

You can take it before starting treatment. I suggest stop using it during IUI treatment because if anything wrong happens during the treatment, your attending physician will blame you for using m2 tone, thought it might not cause any side effect.
Was told I have Uterian synachiare can M2-tone help?
Breaking up scar tissue with medicines is very difficult and may take months for medicines to work.
According to my opinion, M2 tone has a very little potential to help in uterine synechiae. You may require other herbal or ayurvedic medicines. It may include the use of Chandraprabha vati, Arogyavardni vati, Kachnaar Guggulu and other preparations according to your specific symptom if any.
However, it is very difficult to treat intra-uterine adhesions/uterine synechiae with ayurvedic medicines alone. The panchakarma procedure known as Uttara Basti can help in this condition.
Finally, I suggest you undergoing conventional treatment and then start taking m2 tone to prevent further complications.
I am 43 yrs old. I am taking M2-tone for close to 1.5 months as my periods have become irregular and doc said I have multiple cysts. But I have developed severe constipation. Is it because of of M2-tone? Should I stop taking the medicine?
M2 tone syrup might be a cause of constipation as it contains musta (cyperus rotundus). You should stop taking it until your bowel movements become normal. You might require other ayurvedic remedies as well, m2 tone alone will not help with multiple cysts.
I am 45 years old woman. I was diagnosed with simple hyperplasia in May 2013, after which I had taken medicine REGESTRONE 5mg for 6 months starting from September 2013 and ending in Feb. 14. High blood pressure cannot occur due to the use of M2 Tone tablet or syrup. It does not contain such ingredient, which can result in such condition. There might be other underlying causes of hypertension.
M2 tone can be used for a longer period, even more than 6 months, but it should be used under supervision of ayurvedic physician. In some cases, it might require to change remedy according to symptoms or DOSHA, which can alter over time.

I had no periods for 9 months continuous in 2012. After that, I visited doctor and he gave me P & E tablets, which made me have periods. I took this tablets for one year gaping every two months as I used to had periods only with this medicines.
In 2013 April, I had periods without medicines and it is not stopping since then I had gone for to doctor they give me injections, which stops it for few days, but then it comes back with more bleeding.

I use to have normal periods and it lasted for 5-7 days every time. Since the time I got engaged my periods got decreased to 3 days. I got married on Nov. 2013.
Once I used an I-pill on March 2014 I got diagnosed by a functional cyst. Doctors advised that it will get removed by its own in 3 months, but it still didn’t got removed. I again did a sonography it still existed. I got checkups done every 3 months, but there was no change in cyst.
In Sep. 2014, my doc. suggested me a course of m2 tone tablet & pills for 3 months. The course got completed, but cyst still exists in me. Will functional cyst cause problem in pregnancy? Should I continue m2 tone tablets?
Functional ovarian cyst does not cause any problem and it may remove itself over the course of time. Its treatment can take several months. It is usually harmless even in pregnancy.

Doctor please it was recommend I take 2tabs – 3 times daily, I started for 4dayz and the drug was too strong as I started feelyn a bit ill, the doctor lowered the dosage to 2 tabs, twice a day and I want to ask if this is okay. Hope I can get the ashwagandha and misiri as prescribed by you.
Every medicine may affect differently in every person. It may be the possibility of unsuitability of M2 Tone in higher dosage. The actual therapeutic dosage of M2 Tone is two tablets twice a day. This dosage should not cause any problem.

Actually I am taking M2 Tone from last 6 months and this is my 9th month .
Am diagnosed with PCOD 7years ago,after get married( 4yrs back ),noticed ovulation not taking place as periods irregular and some time totally abcent for 4-5 months.
After all the blood and hormones tests,Ultrasounds and Tube tests etc etc.
My Dr put me on contraceptive to regulate periods but not worked really.
I have been on Clomid far 4months but no respond too

It was almost 6 months from April-Sept 2014 since it was stop and I was taken hormonal tablets called NEROSTHERONE for one month. I seen my MP unfortunately I did not seen it on November up to April march.

M2 tone is not containing any ingredient, which can increase weight except shatavari and ashwagandha. But these two herbs are also present in very low quantity, which has no effects on body weight. I think it will not increase weight. You should also note that weight gain occurs in PCOS due to hormonal changes and bad dietary habits, which need to be corrected.

I have been married for 11 month now and trying to conceive. My menstrual cycle 28 days, I was supposed to see my period on 29 Dec 2014, it delayed so I thought I was pregnant. On 9 January 2015, my period then came. Since that time my cycle changed from 28 days to 30 or 31 days. In the month of May, I was to see my period around 4th May 2015, but it never came until 20th June 2015 when it came. I do not really understand what it is. I went to see the ob gyn my uterus was scanned the Dr. said I’m ok per the scan. I also had a pregnancy test, which came out negative. The ob gyn gave me folic acid and M2 Tone tablets which I started taking 4 days ago. pls can someone explain to me what’s going on. I just don’t get it.

M2 tone can be used for this purpose. The second easily available remedy for you is Aloe Vera Fresh Pulp juice. A tsp. of Aloe Vera juice should be sufficient. If you can arrange ayurvedic medicines in Canada, then Kumaryasava would be the right choice instead of Aloe Vera.

2. Meanwhile, you can use KUMARYASAVA.
3. According to my opinion, KUMARI ASAV and Birth control pills (hormone pills) should not be taken together. There is no study available on this if it is safe or interacting with each other.
If you have started treatment with birth control pills, then it would be better to complete the 3 months course of hormone pills or as recommended by your doctor. If you have still any problem, then you should not use hormone pills and this alternative treatment option would be better.
We (ayurvedic physicians) do not consider a good treatment with hormones. We prefer the natural treatment. We consider that natural and safe measures should be the first line of the treatment. If natural treatment fails, then we should use modern medicine.
Hi Dr, I used to have regular periods. Doctor has recommended M2 tone, LIVOMYN and GHARBH last month because I have not been able to conceive for the last 3yrs now. My periods have delayed for over a week now, pregnancy results are negative. What could be the reason?
There could be several reasons, so you should go for a complete health check, hormonal profile and USG – ovaries and uterus to rule out the cause.
If everything is fine, then it could be due to weakness of the uterus. In such case, Ashwagandha powder, Misri, Putrajivak, shivlingi beej in equal amount are beneficial when taken in dosage of 1/2 tsp. with milk twice daily.

Nobody prescribed me anything, have started everything on my own looking at the herbal compositions. I got married recently and planning for pregnancy. Kindly look into my problem, Can I use HYPONIDD and M2 tone? I am worried about my bleeding after 10 days. Is it dangerous or common?

Bleeding may not be normal under some circumstances, so you should also consult your local ayurvedic doctor for a proper treatment.

Can M2 Tone be taken during pregnancy?
The use of M2 Tone and any other medicines in pregnancy is not advisable. Actually, the unnecessary use of any medicine is also not recommendable.
However, this case is separate and M2 Tone will not harm the developing baby because it does not contain any harmful ingredient. Secondly, the individual amount of the each herb used in this formulation is insignificant to produce any side effect.
Once periods become regular, how long should patient continue to take M2 tone?
Once periods become regular, M2 Tone can be stopped, but the minimum three months course should be completed with M2 Tone.

Many ingredients in M2 tone may help reducing some symptoms of fibroid, but it may not provide a complete cure from this condition.

My doc has prescribed Mtone & Dexaorange with some test, which ruled out all possibilities of fibroids, cyst rtc. Periods were normal for year & it missed once. I gave birth thru CS on Dec. 2016 and baby past away after 4 months my periods stops. I went to see my gyno, and after checkup he advised me use hyponid and melmet. After 3 months, I got back my periods regularly, but the doctor told me not to stop using hyponid and melmet till the day I will conceive and now its 9 months since I started using hyponid and melmet. Last month, I went back for a check up to my gyno, and he added a dose of M2-tone for 3 months and letroz for 5 five days (5th day of cycle). I find this tablet too many for me to take per day, cz they are 9 tablets per day.
