    1. Dr. Jagdev Singh says

Mentat is helpful for treating senile dementia. It provides a cognitive boost and reduces symptoms such as anorexia, insomnia, and fluctuating attention. Moreover, it improves mood, behaviour, and memory. It is beneficial for reducing or stopping the progress of dementia. It improves oxygen level and nutrient supply to the brain, which helps to prevent degeneration of the brain cells.

There is no reliable evidence available for any interaction between Mentat and Piracetam. Just keep 3 hours gap between these for a precautionary purposes.

Animal study suggests Mentat and Piracetam both have similar effects and exerts nootropic action and improve memory and learning. (Reference)
