Osteoarthritis is considered to be the most common type of arthritis and is generally found in aged people. Commonly, this disease is named as O.A and is also known as degenerative joint disease or degenerative arthritis.  This chronic disease is caused by the inflammation and the breakdown of the cartilage amongst the bones of the weight bearing joints.
