Dant Kanti toothpaste produces a refreshing and soothing effect and reduces a toothache. The herbs present in this toothpaste produce a slight numbness in the affected area and thus, provide relief from the pain.

Gingivitis

Patanjali Dant Kanti Toothpaste is beneficial for treating gingivitis. It is a common disease affecting the gums that cause irritation, swelling and redness of these tissues. It is a very mild disease; hence, most patients do not even realize that they are suffering from it. However, if not treated properly, it can lead to a more serious condition called periodontitis that may result in tooth loss.

Gingivitis can occur due to several reasons like poor oral hygiene, tobacco use, diabetes, reduced immunity, infections in the oral cavity, excessive dryness of the mouth, and lack of proper nutrition. Women may develop gingivitis due to the hormonal changes occurring during menstrual cycles, and pregnancy or due to the use of birth control pills. Regular use of this toothpaste can protect the gums against the effects of these risk factors and prevent gingivitis.
