Santap Shamak Mishran is made from the following ingredients.

Godanti Bhasma 96 grams
Giloy Sat 48 grams
Praval Pishti 48 grams
Jahar Mohra Pishti 24 grams
Shuddha Parad 12 grams
Shuddha Gandhak 12 grams
Jatamansi (Spikenard) – Nardostachys Jatamansi 12 grams
Elachi (Green Cardamom) – Elettaria cardamomum seeds 12 grams
Ushira or Khas (Vetiver) – Vetiveria zizanioides 12 grams

Santap Shamak Mishran has the following medicinal properties.

  • Antipyretic.
  • Antimicrobial.

  • All types of fever, especially high-grade fever.
  • Pitta Jwara (fever with primary dominance of Pitta dosha)
  • Vatapittaj Jwara (fever with primary dominance of Vata and Pitta dosha).
  • Burning sensation.
  • Excessive thirst.
  • Nausea and vomiting.
  • Headache.
  • Restlessness.
  • Typhoid fever.
  • Malaria.
  • Intermittent fever.
  • Encephalitis.
  • Fever due to kidney and urinary infections.

Santap Shamak Mishran Dosage

The classical ayurvedic dosage of Santap Shamak Mishran is as follows:

Infants and Children 15 mg per Kg of body weight
Adults 1000 mg
Pregnancy Not Recommended
Lactation 500 mg
Geriatric Dosage 500 mg
Maximum Possible Dosage 4000 mg per day

How to Take

Anupan (Adjuvant) Honey, Amruthotharam Kashayam, Guduchyadi Kwath
Dosage Frequency  3 to 4 times a day
Medication Time Whenever require – an interval of 3 hours.
