Gunjadi Oil (Gunja Tail)

Gunjadi Oil (Gunja Tail) is used for scalp massage. It reduces itching, dandruff, scalp acne, scalp psoriasis, scalp eczema and other skin diseases. Its massage is also beneficial for treating a headache that occurs with intense pain and relieves with bandaging, pressing or massaging.

Ingredients (Composition)

Bhringraj Juice4 Kg

Reference: Bhaishajya Ratnavali (B.R.), Chapter 60, KSHUDRA ROGA CHIKITSA, and Verse 128.

How to Make Gunjadi Oil

  1. Take detoxified (Shuddha) Gunja Seeds (Rosary Pea) and grind them to make a fine Mix the Gunja Seed Powder in Bhringraj Juice and make a paste.
  2. Now, take a pan and pour sesame oil in it. Also, add Gunja seed Kalka (Paste) and Bhringraj Juice in the sesame oil. Stir the mixture.
  3. Now, boil the mixture, then simmer the mixture until only the oil remains.
  4. Leave it for several hours for natural cooling. When it cools down, filter the oil and preserve it in the glass bottles.

Direction for Use

  1. Wash your hands and warm the Gunjadi Oil.
  2. Take a small amount of Gunjadi Oil and apply it on the scalp.
  3. Leave it overnight and in the morning wash the hair.
  4. Apply the Gunjadi Oil on regular basis until getting the complete relief from the scalp problems.

A well-prepared Gunjadi Oil is Possibly Safe when applied over the scalp.

  1. I have been taking Arjunarishta (Patanjali) fairly regularly. I used to get it when I travelled to India. I am not travelling much these days. I want to order Arjunarishta, 10 to 20 bottles. How and where I can place an order? It does not have to be Patanjali brand. I live in Canada.

    1. All medicines can be purchased from local ayurvedic stores. If some of them are not available at local stores, then you can also find them online searching on Google.

    I have too much hair loss and regrowth problem. I read all details of gunjadi oil and I think all problem which I am facing might be solve by using gujadi oil. I am living in Germany and did not find this oil. So can you tell me where its available or any online store or any specific site?
